This fun course takes a new enthusiastic operator on the adventurous journey of learning how to properly operate a 3-wheeled can-am Spyder. The student will be taught the nomenclature, basic operational techniques, multiple turns, swerving, braking, backing, evasive action and an introduction to street skills. At the end of the day the student will have the opportunity to practice the DMV test at the MotoMark1 headquarters.
Once the student has completed this one day course, a MotoMark1 instructor will meet the student at the Burlington, NC DMV location with a can-am Spyder to conduct their endorsement test. Once the student has successfully passed the state exam and has purchased their own Spyder, then that student can attend the MotoMark1 Stayin' Safe course.
A few things that makes MotoMark1 unique is we use instructor to student radio communications and cameras so you receive real-time coaching and a video critique. MotoMark1 will also provide lunch!!
Length: 1 day - School runs rain or shine
Class Size: Minimum of 2 students, maximum of 6 students
What's Included: Course instruction, materials, lunch, and a 3-wheel Can-am Spyder to complete course and DMV test
Motorcycle: Can-Am Spyder provided by MotoMark1 and Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP)
Minimums: DOT rated helmet, long sleeve shirt or jacket, long pants, full finger gloves, eye protection, over the ankle boots
